Travelling the incredible Western Australia coast
It’s been a while since I’ve had the luxury of spending a month travelling and drawing each day. In July this year my husband and I travelled south from Broome along the Pilbara coast, inland to Karijini National Park, across to Tom Price and Ningaloo Reef, then down the Coral Coast and on to Perth. To say that I was floored by its unique and spectacular scenery would be an understatement – an artist’s paradise. I have numerous gouache sketches and the outcome of some of this adventure will feature in my future paintings.
