Successful Open Studio

It was gratifying to see so many show up to our open studio over the last few days. The studio visit was planned as an opportunity to show and talk art to our local friends and visitors, and I so enjoyed talking to so many of you.

There was a lot of interest –  from field studies to how concepts are extended to fully formed oil paintings, different painting techniques, and also finished works on paper. Many visitors wanted to know more about the process of painting, and were interested in my Sydney workshop program.   So much so that I’ll be looking at trialling a Hunter program starting early next year, so watch this space and let me know if you are interested.

A big thank you to those who bought works.  I am so pleased to see my oil paintings and works on paper off to new homes.

I am also encouraged to hold an open studio more regularly.
